Terms of service

Last updated

NoteWorks is provided by Strange Digital Group, LLC. Using it means agreeing to what is on this page. It is short on purpose.

Your content is yours

You keep every right you have in what you put into NoteWorks. We hold it so the product can work — store it, back it up, index it for your own search, and send the parts a feature needs to the providers on the subprocessors page. We claim no licence beyond that, and none of it survives your account.

What we will not do

What we ask of you

Availability, and what happens if we stop

We run NoteWorks on servers we operate and we aim for it to be up. We do not offer an uptime guarantee at this size and will not pretend to. Status and incident history are on the status page. If we ever wind the service down, you will get at least 90 days’ notice and export will keep working for the whole of it.

Liability

NoteWorks is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for anything the law does not permit us to limit.

Ending it

You can delete your account from Settings → Your account at any time, with a grace period in which one click cancels. We may suspend an account that is breaking these terms or endangering other customers, and we will say why.

Changes

Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. The date at the top is the last time any of this changed.
